We have collected the following questions from various interview experience blogs of students and alumni who were recently interviewed for INSEAD. They are not structured in any particular order. Feel free to use them for your reference.
Questions to the interviewee
1. Why MBA, why Insead, why now, etc. 2. Touched a broad range of topics about business, challenges of doing business in emerging economies like India and China, developments in the technology industry etc. 3. Discuss a couple of times about what I planned to do after studies. 4. What I would consider as my top challenges on going back to school etc. 5. Tell me about yourself. Walk me through your resume. 6. A walkthrough my resume (guided by him): All my jobs, army and Technion. 7. We talked a lot about what I do technically at Elbit. 8. How is your English? How did you learn English? 9. What is your greatest achievement? I described it in details. 10. What do you consider the peak of your career so far? 11. How did you become a duty officer in the army? (He showed interest in this role) 12. How come you have not graduated the Technion on Dean's List? Should it be a concern? 13. What are your long term goals (5 years from now)? 14. Did you observe project managers in Elbit? What is their education? (He is also a Software engineer that changed career to management). 15. Tell me about your childhood. He asked about my parent's occupation, my brother and sister. 16. Will you go alone or with a partner? Did you consult her with the decision? 17. What other schools have you applied to? 18. Do you have any questions for me? (Because he graduated a long time ago, a general question about "what the experience at INSEAD has contributed to your life" was enough). 19. He went into a specific interesting detail that I have mentioned in the application. 20. What do you want to emphasize in the application? ...
