My name is Anna Heery. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and am a Junior at Brown University, double-majoring in Economics and Urban Studies. This semester, I am studying in France at the Université de Paris to improve my French. At Brown, I was the co-President and co-founder of Brown Women’s Volleyball Club. Through the process of
starting the club, I learned how to plan a budget, write a proposal, communicate with other organizations and effectively lead a team. This experience gave me hands-on knowledge about management and running an organization. I was also the Social Chair of the Brown Women in Business group, which serves on their Leadership Committee. Through
this group, I have helped organize on-campus Business Education lectures that are open to all of campus as well as help run bi-monthly general body meetings. I am lucky to be a part of InterviewBay, as it is a great idea with an awesome team.
